…As EYG performs weekly in the two e lounge at The pierre

Revitalizing its grand tradition of top tier live music, The Pierre, A Taj Hotel, is once again an entertainment showcase, conjuring a private club atmosphere in a public setting. As profiled in Forbes Magazine in late 2022, Garcia performs weekly from 6-9pm. With selections from jazz, gems both prized and hidden and French chanson, Eric joins the ranks of entertainers past and present who have reveled on the Upper East Side. Old New York never lost its stride.

Latest press for EYG at The Pierre:

"Manhattanites who yearn for the music and ambience of a Cafe Society piano lounge now have a location and entertainer to hang with. If an Omar Sharif or Rudolph Valentino could play great piano and sing the American Songbook they would have been Eric Yves Garcia."

“Garcia brings a sterling pedigree to the room... ...Debonair and sophisticated, and uber-relaxed, the Two E suits him down to the ground. His repertoire is vast—from old songbook standards to Broadway to popular and modern tunes. Plus, he has an easy way with patrons who make requests or otherwise wish to interact with him—he’s adept at quips and ad libs, which he dispenses with glee and charm.”

-Marilyn Lester, NiteLife Exchange

"In a hopeful sign of classy resurgence, cabaret is slowly coming back to hotels... ...Eric Yves Garcia brings signature stylish entertainment... ...the performer’s talent and equanimity shine through... Amiable and smooth, Astaire contributions fit the dapper Garcia like a good suit... just the right casually sophisticated tone."

-Alix Cohen, Woman Around Town

"His command of phrasing and timing drives the story with power and poignancy. That's Eric Yves Garcia, and you'll find him at The Pierre's Two E Lounge every Thursday".

...Eric Yves Garcia has that gift, along with so many others to be enjoyed each time he sits down at a piano and raises his voice — you don’t have to go to the movies and pretend you’re a part of the New York nightlife.
